Enjoy a brimming bottle of port and yummy chocolates on arrival in one of two charming cottages nestled amongst giant old European trees on Westbury's picturesque Village Green.
Your friendly hosts will deliver your delicious daily continental breakfast hamper each morning before your day of munching, brunching, sipping and lunching through the countryside. Start with a mouthwatering wander through Meander Valley overflowing with salmon, ginseng, honey and cheeses.
In between meals, explore lush walking tracks and cast a line at inland trout fisheries, pick some raspberries, visit the superb Anvers chocolatier, then tipple on fine Tamar Valley wines in this region famous for its fine Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Sparkling.
Then return to your cottage, and curl up by the fireplace for a cosy evening or sit out on the veranda and watch the sun go down. Then head into Westbury for a wholesome pub meal at Fitzpatrick's Inn or Westbury Hotel, or cook up some of the local produce you acquired during the day in your own kitchen.
