- Fine Print
Considered Australia's surfing capital, Torquay is surrounded by well-known surf breaks including the world famous Bells Beach on the town's outskirts. Board shorts aren't just the dress code here, it's where they were invented! Located just 75 minutes south-west of Melbourne, Torquay is also the official starting point of the Great Ocean Road, offering lovely wide grassy foreshores, big waves and plenty of seaside fun that's sure to make you want to return year after year.
Take your pick between two beach houses from Torquay Retreats: 31 Pride Street and 18 Beach Road. Both are positioned in prime spots, close to the beach and parkland. Fully self-contained, each beach house has spacious living areas and sleeps up to 12 comfortably (so you know six of you will have ample room), making an ideal choice for families or groups of friends looking to getaway and explore this fabulous stretch of coastline known across the country.
