Golden Globe winner for Best Original Score, Gladiator follows loyal Roman general, Maximus Decimus Meridius (Russell Crowe) who is betrayed, and his family murdered by an emperor's corrupt son. He is reduced to slavery and comes to Rome to rise through the ranks of the gladiatorial arena to seek revenge.
